With spring break around the corner, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the exceptional opportunities available to our students. As many of you are already aware, the District is also facing a more challenging financial forecast now than we have in recent history.
More than 100 students from Shaker Heights High School and five Shaker Heights Middle School students recently competed at Regionals for the National History Day competition.
n order to provide for intentional start-of-school orientation time for students, particularly for those students who are transitioning to new buildings or who are new to the District, Shaker Heights Schools is planning to continue the use of a staggered start for the 2025-2026 school year.
Shaker Heights High School students received 20 awards in this year's Scholastic Art Exhibition, including 4 Gold Keys, 5 Silver Keys, and 11 honorable mentions.
At its Tuesday, January 14, 2025, meeting, the Shaker Heights Board of Education approved revisions to the 2025-2026 academic calendar.
We are excited to announce that Isaiah Wyatt will be appointed as Interim Principal of the High School.
